Creation vs Evolution

Though the issue of the age of the world isn't necessarily a salvation issue, it is an authority issue for the Chrisitan. What is your ultimate authority? Man's fallible theories? Or God's infallible word? For the Christian, the Bible must be the starting point, and we should interpret the evidence in light of this fact.
